Who’s talking

I’m a Millennial who loves her job and life. I’ve half-heartedly attempted blogging before but my themes have been too narrow. I’m more than a baker, maker of lotions and reader.

Saving Without Scrimping is meant to celebrate truly enjoying life while keeping an eye on your spending. Every time I hear someone say, ” I scrimped and saved for X.” I have images of them living in a shack, forgoing any pleasure, and fighting tooth and nail to achieve their goal. Admirable but not for me.

I aim to live my life to the fullest while being thrifty. Thrifty to me is shopping smart and choosing the areas in which I want to spend my money while saving for a rainy day as well as an awesome vacation.

In these pages I hope that you find a friend, tips you can use and a safe place to share your own thoughts.
